Position Overview:

The HR manager plans, designs, executes, and supervises Human Resource activities such as team member lists, volunteer hours, and emails. Focus is on building great team culture alongside other executive members, by providing support where necessary.


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Update Team Management list

    • Members list

    • Volunteer Hours on a bi-weekly basis

  • Help transition new members whether through meetings and/or emails

    • Understand their expectations and goals, give direction

  • Be involved and/or aware of events/projects to keep other members updated

  • Ensures that each project has enough human capital to execute its objectives.

    • Organize volunteers and help for projects, if requested by project managers.

    • Communicates effectively with Project Managers to ensure that enough team members are assigned to each project.

  • Delegate tasks and volunteer where needed

  • Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develops solutions, and implements them alongside Co-Presidents.

  • Assist with planning team-building activities or get-togethers.

  • Train and transition successor

  • Operates as interim Events Coordinator if the role is not filled

  • Lead HR team throughout the school year and ensure regular intervals of evaluation to promote growth and success of team members.

  • Demonstrated Enactus energy and passion for Enactus Vision

  • Be driven, passionate, outgoing, and ambitious

  • Must be organized, punctual, reliable and accountable

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to find opportunities

  • Have patience and understanding while remaining persistent

  • Be able to demonstrate integrity and self-awareness

  • Demonstrate constructive criticism feedback while mentoring Project Managers, and ensuring implementation

  • Demonstrates accountability and be able to enforce accountability

  • Demonstrated experience with Enactus

  • HR major or some prior HR classes would be considered an asset

  • Relative work experience in an HR background would be considered an Asset
